HAW TO LRN TWO RT

Do you remember learning to write? I don’t. Yes, har dee har I still don’t know how to write. You got me.
My daughter is in kindergarten right now and she is learning to write. The spelling isn’t correct, the grammar challenged, but you can really understand a lot of what she writes now.
It’s wild. Suddenly, I can read about things that she thinks are important. Like this note:

A cute heart cover.

“You should not pick your nose.”
Okay, the heart cover threw me off a little. Here’s another:

Similar cute heart cover…

“You should not touch your butt.”
Again, it could be worse. Perhaps the heart covers are a way of softening the blow, a way of kindly asking “Please, sir, you should not touch your butt.”
In any case, I look forward to reading more of her weird thoughts as they occur to her and squirreling them away for future embarrassment!
